Rain Man makes “Other Girl” his own, incorporating high pitched synths, dope bass and an energetic beat. Rowland Evans is back and this time the California-based DJ/producer brought us a killer remix of JOHN.k’s epic hit, “Runnin.’” Rowland’s remix of “Runnin’” is just as dope as the original, as Rowland speeds up the track, incorporating trap elements and heavy bass. Ramzoid Shows Us Some Insight On How He And Gramatik Made Their Remix For Flumes “Wall Fuck”
It’s always cool to see the behind the scenes of what goes into making a track from a professionals point of view. Even just a screen shot of a project file on Twitter can get a lot of young artists excited and riled up. In the video below, the young Canadian producer known as Ramzoid shows us a glimpse into how he along side Gramatik remixed “Wall Fuck” Flume. Their remix is also number one on the “New And Hot Electronic Charts On Soundcloud“. He begins by telling the story of how he and Gramatik first got in touch and then goes on to soloing individual pieces of the remix and talking a little bit about what went into making those bits and pieces.
I won’t talk too much about it because it’s worth just watching the video! Ramzoid also states he plans on uploading more videos and focusing a little bit more on youtube now that he’s on the road more often than not. He is a really talented kid we can all learn a lot from, and I suggest going over to his youtube right now and subscribing, especially if you are an aspiring artist looking for more tips and tricks about production. NGHTMRE fans have been fiending for this release since DJ Snake quietly dropped it on Twitter back in March. It has been quite the week for Zeds Dead & NGHTMRE fans. Right when you thought “Frontlines” ft. GG Magree couldn’t get any better..BOOM music video and remix package (courtesy of DeadBeats). Dreams really do come true guys.
The video for “Frontlines” is insane. It is a retro animation themed video directed by the very talented Chris Yee. Chris and Zed’s Dead have teamed up in the past for the epic animated video “Blame”. Chris explained ““Frontlines” is inspired by the dreams of space and time exploration from the 60s and 70s – exploring new worlds and venturing into the infinite unknown.”
The remix package, which was just released today, features 8 tracks from producers Kid Froopy, Habstrakt, Crankdat, Megalodon, Taiki Nulight, Wuki, Aazar, & Klaxx. It is definitely one of the most diverse remix packages we have heard in awhile. Each producer takes the perfectly produced tune by Zeds Dead & NGHTMRE and put their own original spin on it.
