Jessame’s New Single “Easy Lovin’” Is A Must Hear Late Night Single
Jessame has been a staple in our rotation here at TSS. His songwriting and vocal ability is refreshing as it is inspiring. From the collaborations he has done with Lost Kings, TV Noise, and Sean Turk, to his originals, he always brings his best. Probably his best trait beyond his range and vocal tonality is the vibe he creates on a record that anyone could sing. When you Jessame on a tune, you know you are set for a W.
His new single “Easy Lovin’” will put the room in that mood. The mood where you get a plus one and I am not talking about free tickets to a show. Once again, the rising star hits that pocket where he flows over the record with ease. Grab this single below and make sure to share with your friends.
VLTIE dropped a vicious new EP a few weeks back titled , “A Day Late x A Dollar Short”. It incorporates 8 solid tracks, these tracks brings out the best of what new and fresh 2016 Hip Hop/R&B has to offer. Yep, we said it, R&B. This is not your typical Hip Hop project. VLTIE is a true hybrid, mixing his sound 50/50 split with dope Hip Hop and R&B. Honestly, we have never came across a project like this before. His originality in his sound, voice, rhythm and overall song structure is at a 100% ORIGINAL level. Typically we would not dabble into the R&B seen but VLTIE’s was an absolute exception. As soon as you scope out this EP, everyone reading this will know exactly why we made this exception. He is DOPE, plain and simple.
The production on this project is flawless, accompanied by Giovanni, Bliss, and YungPage, all great up and coming producers who really go hand in hand with VLTIE’s sound and lyrical talent. We were really impressed by the EP’s artwork cover as well, its real simple and eye-catching at the same time. Out of the 8 tracks, my favorites are “Right Of Way” & “I Heard It Before” w/ MxG Reem. Overall we approve this EP for fans out there who are looking for fresh quality music. I’m positive that VLTIE has a bright future ahead of him. Make sure to check out this EP today! BTW…Its actually available as a FREE download on Soundcloud and that’s a real good look. Not a lot of artist offer a full EP absolutely for FREE!
No Plans After Buku? Here’s Your Chance To Win Tickets To The Late Night Funktion
After the Main Stage, it’s the Float Den Lobby! And after the Float Den, it’s the Late Night Funktion! In a city that exuberates as much vivacity throughout its afternoon hours as it does its evening hours, an opportunity to dance at every given moment is absolutely mandatory. As they have always done in the past, the streets of New Orleans have graciously provided us with the good times once again!
There are many times in which after-parties get sadly overlooked, but we can promise you that this is one you don’t want to miss. The Howlin’ Wolf will play host exceptional artists throughout three nights to ensure your night out doesn’t end until the next morning. These aren’t the official BUKU after-parties, but it’s hard for us to imagine a more legit lineup than the one Capital Crown, Pass The Good Entertainment, Sweet Science Radio & SOMA Entertainment have put together right here.
Here at ThisSongSlaps, we love to hook our readers up with awesome prizes. Therefore, we figured that giving away a pair of tickets to one of the most lit after hours events we’ve seen in a brick would be following suit! If you’ve already got your BUKU pass (and even if you don’t) then why not enter our contest to give you and a friend an opportunity at these free tickets; it’s literally that simple! Plus, let’s be real – going back home or to your hotel room after the Festival ends is most definitely never the move.
