Kidswaste Gives NoMBe’s “Wait” A Soulfully Electric Remix

Kidswaste Gives NoMBe’s “Wait” A Soulfully Electric Remix
Mikaela

Following up on the release of his “Spleen” EP, Kidswaste is back on airwaves once again with his remix of NoMBe‘s “Wait”. The original had captivating vocals with electro-indie feels, but the French producer has taken it and breathed new life into it. Laced with snares, claps, and groovy synths, this remix keeps the vocals but creates an electro-soul counterpart to the original. Check out Kidswaste’s latest below and be sure to follow him for more!

Electric Paradise makes that dream possible, with the added bonus of a stacked lineup, including Skrillex, Porter Robinson, Major Lazer, Steve Angello, Anna Lunoe, and many more. Leading up to the event, the festival launched its own mix series, with the first piece premiering last week from Anjunadeep’s rising star, Moon Boots. For this week’s episode, Electric Paradise has recruited British artist, Zen Freeman, for an 80-minute journey filled with a fusion of tech house and summery vibes. The mix features tracks from Hot Since 82, Claptone, Oliver Heldens, Michael Calfan, and a handful of his own unreleased music, four of which have yet to be named. Tickets are still available for the December 19 event, and it’s sure to be a good time.

Electric Paradise Artist Showcase: Major Lazer

Electric Paradise Artist Showcase: Major Lazer
Garret

After announcing phase 1 of its lineup, the Dominican Republic’s outstanding festival, Electric Paradise, is already shaping up quite nicely for its second edition on December 19th in Punta Cana. One of the most fitting acts on the bill is Major Lazer, the famed group featuring Diplo, Jillionaire, and Walshy Fire. The reason being is that they have deep roots in the caribbean in terms of their musical style, which ranges from reggae, to dancehall, to reggaeton, house, and more. Their distinctive and diverse blend of music has won them masses of fans around the world, and countless high profile performances that seem to get bigger with each release, like their most recent album, Peace Is the Mission. You probably know this album from its incredible hit, “Lean On” featuring DJ Snake and MØ, but it’s chock-full of other jams that have been taking over airwaves ever since its release.

Major Lazer topped the Electric Paradise phase 1 announcement, and for good reason. They’re set to throw down at the festival, and if you can take our word for it, they’ll probably be one of the best performances at the event. Check out some of their music below and buy tickets to Electric Paradise here. More artist announces are scheduled for next week!
