BRBRCK – “BACKSTAGE” Album (Review)

Finally an album worth reviewing on a great Sat night out here in LA!  BRBRCK, reppin Brooklyn NY, drops his latest project  titled “BACKSTAGE“, an 11 track album with some of the most lyrical and fundamental retro tracks for 2016!  His style and delivery is extremely original, unique and entertaining.  With an abundance of beats full with old school horns, high-hats and snares, it’s nearly impossible to not respect his sound and creativity!  I notice that he is a true story-teller as well, with songs like “Boom Bap” delivering a clever story and defining what Boom Bap is really about!  Not a lot of Brooklyn area MC’s are delivery quality like this.

We really appreciate East-Coast Hip Hop,  and for BRBRCK, nobody can’t say he’s not holding it down!  My favorite track on this album is “The Great Depression“…Super dope track right here!  This track is the true definition of “Underground Hip Hop”!  Make sure to support “BACKSTAGE“ today, it’s up and available now on Soundcloud!

I really wanted to shout out the last track on this album.  Its titled “Dream Machine“.  Make sure to peep this track today!!

Check out BRBRCK’s latest album titled “BACKSTAGE“.

Created entirely in a half-bedroom-sized home studio in Bushwick, Brooklyn, BRBRCK’s self-produced BACKSTAGE pulls back the curtain on the life of the urban artist. Sarcastic yet genuine in his lyrics, BRBRCK embraces his dreams and insecurities and splashes them over lush, dynamic beats he produced with the iLL harmonic, a cohort of New York City musicians whose influences span from experimental jazz to classical, from folk to funk.
